Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need to provide mine and my child's details?

We take security and safety very seriously. Registering your details allows us to track who signs in and out of WKSPC. This means we can provide a safe environment for you and your children to play in.

Are there rules in place at the centre?

Please see our 'Rules of Play' page found in the footer menu of our website. This details all of our rules which people attending WKSPC should follow. This is to ensure the safety of yourself, your child and others around you. If you are found to be breaking any of the 'Rules of Play', a member of staff will issue warnings and you may be asked to leave WKSPC. Management maintain the right to refuse entry and to enforce total bans.

Who supervises children?

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 years old or over. They must supervise and observe children at all times to ensure they are capable of playing with the equipment safely. Parents or guardians are also responsible for monitoring the behaviour of their children and explaining the 'Rules of Play'. WKSPC staff are here to provide any further assistance and to make your visit enjoyable.

Is there an age restriction?

Children can be up to 12 years old to play at WKSPC. Anyone over 12 years old can supervise younger children (providing they are also accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 years old or over) and should pay an adult's entry fee.

What are the opening hours?

Please see our 'Prices & Times' page found in the header and footer menus of our website for all opening hours. If you have any questions about when WKSPC opens and closes, please get in touch and we will be happy to help.

Is there a time limit to the play session?

We enforce a play limit of 120 minutes. We have capacity levels in place, therefore to allow all children to play safely and comfortably throughout the day, it is necessary to enforce a maximum time limit for play.

Why am I not allowed to bring food in?

A café is open in WKSPC to cater to all food and drink tastes, as well as dietary requirements. We therefore do not allow people to bring their own food and drink, aside from those with babies under 1 years old. Our café space is limited to those purchasing food or drink from the restaurant.

What should we wear?

You should wear comfortable clothes that are suitable for play. We operate a no shoes policy in the play area, but socks must be worn at all times. Trousers and long sleeves are preferable, and all jewellery and items in pockets must be removed.

Is there a lost property?

We have a lost property located at reception. Please speak to a member of staff.

Can I take photographs and videos?

You are permitted to take photographs in WKSPC, but please only photograph your own child/children, and be respectful of other people's privacy. Video cameras should only be used during parties.

How can I get in contact?

Please see the 'Contact Us' page found in the header and footer menus of our website to get in touch.

Where can I find the centre?

WKSPC is based in the Belfry Shopping Centre in Redhill and Bentall Shopping Centre in Kingston. Please see the 'Find Us' page found in the footer menu of our website for further location details.

Is there parking at the centre?

There is parking at the Belfry Shopping Centre where we are located. This is well signposted and the cheapest parking in town. There are over 780 spaces in the carpark, including designated spaces for people with disabilities, Shopmobility and parents with young children. There is easy access to WKSPC from the carpark.
